Manchester United's hopes of landing their number one transfer target has reportedly received a boost.
Reports in England claim that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is United's top priority heading into the 2023/2024 season as they search for new number nine.
However, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are also said to be keen on the England international as they continue to search for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who joined Barcelona in the off-season.

It is apparent the Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will demand a transfer fee in the region of £100 million for England's all-time leading scorer, whose contract expires next year.
However, it seems the Bundesliga champions might be priced out a move for the Spurs captain if the club's chief financial officer's comments are anything to go by.
"I don't rule anything out but can we afford such a transfer and do we want such a transfer?," Dr Michael Diederich said, as per the Mirror.
"We have to keep an eye on our profitability."
Kane has been urged to leave the North London club by a number of pundits and former players if he has any desire to win major trophies.
The 29-year-old recently became Spurs' all-time leading scorer and is currently 54 goals adrift of Alan Shearer's all-time record in the Premier League.
