According to the Daily Mirror, the Red Devils are set to extend the Dutchman's stay in England by handing him a new five-year contract at Old Trafford.
The former Ajax Amsterdam boss ended United's six-year wait for a trophy earlier this year after beating Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final, leaving the club's hierarchy impressed with how quickly he has been able to make an impression.
Ten Hag's current deal at the 20-time English champions expires in 2025, but he will reportedly see his term being extended until 2028 due to his exploits so far this season.
The report claims the agreement will be struck and finalised regardless of the club's sale status, with the Glazer family currently in talks to sell the Manchester-based giants.
British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Qatar businessman Sheikh Jassim bin Hamid Al Thani are believed to have launched bids for United ahead of the 2023/24 season, although their plans will reportedly include a change of management.
