The 22-year-old Ivorian has been in impressive form for the Red Devils in recent weeks, having assisted four goals in his last four Premier League matches.
Diallo, who joined United from Atalanta in 2021, has emerged as an important player for new head coach Ruben Amorim and now looks set to remain at Old Trafford long-term.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 20-time English champions are set to tie the African international down to fresh terms before the end of this year.
The left-footed winger has featured predominantly at right-wing back since Amorim's arrival, though he has still proven effective going forward.
Diallo was key in United's 4-0 win over Everton this past weekend as he picked up two assists, and was involved in the build-up to another one of his team's goals.
Reports suggest Amorim has been majorly impressed by the Abidjan-born talent, who has made 19 appearances for United this season across all competitions.
