Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho appeared to aim a sly dig at Manchester United and their new star Bruno Fernandes after the midfielder scored four penalties in the Premier League this season.
The player arrived at Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon in January, and was key in inspiring the Red Devils to a third-place finish in the league.
Fernandes, 25, has scored eight goals in 14 EPL matches since joining United, four of which came from the penalty spot.
Speaking about the impact his compatriot has had at his former club, Mourinho suggested that the midfielder is among the best penalty takers in football after having "20 to score".
"(He) improved the United team and also proved to be a great penalty taker, one of the best in the world, because he had about 20 to score."
Across all competitions so far this season, the Portugal star has scored 10 goals and assisted a further eight strikes in 20 matches for the Red Devils.
