A young FC Barcelona defender has seemingly leaked his imminent transfer to Manchester United on social media.
Right-back Marc Jurado appears set to trade the Camp Nou for Old Trafford, having seemingly announced his arrival before the Red Devils decided to.
The 16-year-old appeared to confirm the move when he responded to an Instagram post by United star Bruno Fernandes following the English club's semi-final exit from the UEFA Europa League on the weekend.
The Portugal star had commented on the team's disappointment at dropping out of the competition, and said it was time to rest, reflect and come back stronger next season.
Jurado dropped his response in the comments section, saying, "We keep fighting," along with a muscle emoji.
According to Manchester Evening News, Spanish sources have stated that Jurado has rejected a three-year deal with Barca, which means the player could arrive in England for just a small compensation fee.
They also likened the deal to the one that saw Gerard Pique head to United from Barcelona in the past.
United have had movement in their academy already in the transfer window, with Joe Hugill, Logan Pye and Radek Vitek having already started training with the club.
Jurado is reportedly awaiting international clearance before the deal can be announced, and could be joined by 17-year-old Alvaro Fernandez of Real Madrid.
