Manchester United find themselves seven points clear of the relegation zone, and while the prospect of one of football's most prestigious clubs battling to avoid relegation would have seemed inconceivable just weeks ago, manager Ruben Amorim admits it may now be a reality.

The Portuguese head coach has admitted it is "embarrassing" for United to be in this position, with the side having now lost three consecutive Premier League matches following Monday's 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United.
"Yes, it's embarrassing," he confessed.
"It's also my fault at this moment because I think the team knows it hasn't improved. It's a little bit lost at the moment. It's embarrassing being Manchester United's coach and losing so many games."
In an interview with Sky Sports, Amorim was asked about the disappointing run of results since his appointment: "You cannot go back. We've only had four training sessions together. I will continue with my approach until the end.
"That's very clear [United are being dragged into a relegation battle], so we have to fight. This is a very difficult moment, one of the toughest in Manchester United's history, and we must face it with honesty.
"We must fight in the next game."
