Paris Saint-Germain superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic was reportedly involved in a heated altercation with teammate Gregory van der Wiel during their team's 9-0 thrashing of Troyes on Sunday.
According to Marca, the Dutch defender left the stadium at half-time after a bust-up with the Swede, and went back to the Netherlands, where he has remained since the weekend.
The fullback was replaced by Marquinhos at the break, with the time the club announcing, at the time, that he had sustained a minor injury.
Van der Wiel was seen leaving the Stade de l'Aube at the interval accompanied by his partner, Rose Bertram, and according to Le Parisien, the reason for his early departure was a fierce argument with Ibrahimovic.
It has been suggested that the striker criticised an area of the defender's game, telling him to get the ball up the pitch more quickly.
Van der Wiel has not had the best of seasons with the French champions, and has previously voiced his dismay at his position in the team.
