Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly given Real Madrid their world-record price for Kylian Mbappe if they want to lure him away from the Parc des Princes.

According to Marca, Los Blancos have been informed, through Mbappe's mother and representative Fayza Lamari, that the cost of getting the French attacker to the Santiago Bernabeu will be €250 million (R4.8 billion).
The French giants are looking to recoup as much money as possible as they seemingly prepare to lose their talisman to their European rivals.
It thus appears the transfer saga involving the France captain could be coming to an end soon, with PSG sending a clear statement of intent by leaving him out of their Asian pre-season tour, and then subsequently transfer-listing him.
The same report claims that, in an attempt to save face with the public and also pay the rest of the forward's contract off, the record French champions have decided on the abovementioned figure as an appropriate transfer fee.
With Los Merengues seemingly not negotiating with PSG directly, this is believed to be a result of the way transfer talks transpired between the two clubs in 2021, when the Spanish giants saw multiple bids rejected for Mbappe, who ended up extending with the French giants instead.

It is said that Lamary will try to lower the price for the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners, but with just over a month until the window shuts, the longer PSG take to try to find a mutually beneficial deal, the more leverage Real will gain in talks as it is widely believed that Mbappe only wants a move to the Spanish capital.
