Edinson Cavani netted a hat-trick as Paris Saint-Germain recorded a 4-0 win over Gazelec Ajaccio on Saturday evening.
PSG broke the deadlock after 13 minutes as Edinson Cavani turned home Angel Di Maria's cross with a close range header.
The host nearly hit back in the 24th minute when Coeff picked out Filippi at the near post, however the striker directed his header wide of the mark.
Di Maria went agonisingly close to grabbing PSG's second goal after 31st minute, as the Argentine's over-hit free-kick crashed against the crossbar.
Despite PSG's dominance in the first half, the score remained 1-0 to visitors at the halftime break.
However, the lead was doubled in the 49th minute as Di Maria and Cavani linked up again, as the striker latched onto a pass from the former Manchester United winger, before slotting past Maury.
Cavani completed his hat-trick in the 58th minute, as the Uruguayan headed home Layvin Kurzawa's cross from the left flank.
With the Champions leading comfortably, Laurent Blanc opted to make a few changes with Lucas Moura and Jean-Kévin Augustin coming on for the final 20 minutes.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic rounded off the scoring in stoppage time, as the Swede latched onto a pass from Maxwell, before calmly slotting home, 4-0.
