Paris Saint-Germain claimed their first trophy of the new season, as they thumped Lyon 4-1 in the French Super Cup on Saturday evening.
Unai Emery'charges took the lead after nine minutes when Javier Pastore beat the challenge of Morel, before side-footing home, after some good work by Layvin Kurzawa.
PSG doubled their lead after 19 minutes as Pastore turned provider to pick out Lucas, who skips past three defenders before firing home from close range.
Summer signing Hatem Ben Arfa registered his name on the score-sheet in the 34th minute with a clinical finish from 10-yards out, after being set up by Angel Di Maria.
Di Maria nearly made it 4-0 just before the break when the Argentina broke free, rounded Lopes before firing towards goal, however he strike was cleared off the line by Nkoulou.
PSG eventually extended their advantage 10 minutes into the second half, as Pastore claimed his second assist by picking out Kurzawa, who surged into the box before calmly slotting home, 4-0.
The Ligue 1 champions opted for a change after the hour-mark, as Emery introduced Marco Verratti, who has just returned from injury.
Lyon continued to push forward and bagged a consolation in the 87th minute Corentin Tolisso turned home Chris Jallet's cross from the right flank, 4-1.
