With Sergio Ramos' contract at Real Madrid coming to an end next month, here is the latest update on the defender's future.
Ramos' deal with Los Blancos is set to expire at the end of the season, and, to date, there has been no indication that he will sign an extension.
Marca have reported that the Spain international wants a new two-year deal, but the club is only prepared to offer their captain a one-year contract.
It is believed talks between the 35-year-old and Real have now stalled due to the impasse, with the abovementioned Spanish news outlet reporting that the defender and club president Florentino Perez are open to the idea of parting ways.
It is further claimed that, despite negotiations stalling, there is still a good relationship between Ramos and Perez.
With Paris Saint-Germain reportedly one of the sides keen on the defender, Les Parisiens boss Mauricio Pochettino recently responded to a question on the speculation, although he gave nothing away.
"Sergio Ramos to PSG? I'm not going to answer because everything can be misinterpreted... Sergio is a Real Madrid player," the PSG boss told reporters.
"But what I can say is that, like any team, we want to improve in all positions."
