While Sergio Ramos' contract situation remains unclear, Los Blancos could lose their other senior central defender in Raphael Varane.
Spanish publication AS has now reported that the 2018 World Cup has made a decision to leave the Madrid outfit at the end of the season.
Ramos' contract expires at the end of the current season and while Varane still has one year left, he is believed to have no desire to extend.
Premier League duo Manchester United and Chelsea as well as Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keen on signing the 29-year-old.
Varane did not want to give too much away ahead of Tuesday's Champions League semi-final against Chelsea.
"My future is clear, I am focused on the end of the season," The defender said at his pre-match press conference, as per Manchester Evening News.
"We are in an intense moment and all our focus is on the matches we have ahead.
"The message to the fans is that I am 100 per cent committed to the team. We have challenges that encourage us a lot. I am focused on giving everything on the field."
