With David Alaba reportedly close to joining Real Madrid next season, the Austrian's proposed salary at Los Blancos has now seemingly been revealed.
The Bayern Munich star looks set to move to the Spanish capital on a free transfer when his contract with the Bavarians expires at the end of the season.
While there has been no announcement as yet, the 28-year-old is set to become one of Los Blancos' highest earners, according to Spanish outlet Diario AS.
It is believed that the versatile player will earn €12 million (R209 million) a season in Madrid, which puts him level with Real captain Sergio Ramos.
The Spain defender, however, might not be a Los Blancos player himself next season as his contract expires at the end of this campaign and there has been no indication of an extension being on the cards.
It is further claimed that only Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard will earn more than the Austria international at the Santiago Bernabeu, with the duo each believed to take home €15 million (R261 million) a season.
While Alaba is able to play in more than one position, he would be the third left-back at the club along with Marcelo and Ferland Mendy.
Having made his breakthrough at Bayern in 2011, Alaba is now on the brink of winning his 10th Bundesliga title to go along with his two UEFA Champions League winner's medals.
