Official: Real Madrid Confirm First Major Signing For 2021/2022

LaLiga giants Real Madrid have confirmed their first major signing for the 2021/2022 season.

Los Blancos have confirmed the arrival of Austrian full-back David Alaba on a free transfer from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Alaba will leave the Bavarians when his contract ends next month, and he will link up with the Spanish giants from 1 July 2021.

Real's statement:

The Austria international will also reunite with former Bayern star Toni Kroos, who has enjoyed great success with Los Blancos.

Alaba has racked up 431 appearances for the Bavarians and has won 10 Bundesliga titles and the UEFA Champions League twice among many other trophies.
