It has been claimed that Spanish giants FC Barcelona are "very close" to signing one of the deadliest strikers in world football over the past 10 years.
According to TyC Sports, Sergio Aguero is close to agreeing a move to the LaLiga giants, with his Manchester City contract set to expire in June.
It is claimed there have been "intense negotiations" between the Catalan club and Aguero in recent days, with it being suggested that he has been offered a two-year deal.
Aguero has confirmed he will move on from the Premier League giants ahead of next season, 10 years after his arrival at the Etihad Stadium from Atletico Madrid.
The 32-year-old is reportedly wanted by a number of other clubs across Europe and the world, with Manchester United also emerging as a shock potential destination.
Aguero, however, is believed to want to join hands with Lionel Messi at club level, having only played alongside his compatriot in the Argentina national team.
The striker has scored 257 goals in 385 matches for the Citizens to date, but could add to his tally and trophy haul in the coming months.
