There has been a major turnaround in the Arda Turan transfer saga, as it's now believed that the Manchester United and Chelsea target has been snapped up by Barcelona.
Agent: Atletico Have Agreed To Sell Turan
The Atletico Madrid midfielder has made it very clear that he wants a new challenge this season, but it seemed as though he wanted a move away from Spain until now.
According to Marca, Turan is on the verge of completing a deal with the Catalans and it's estimated to be worth €35 million.
It was previously reported that the Turkey captain was talking to Manchester United and Chelsea, but speculation seems to have faded.
It's reported that the midfielder's release clause is currently at €41 million, but Atletico will allow him to leave for slightly less.
If Turan is to make the move to the Catalan giants, he will be unable to play for his new club until January next year, as Barcelona are still serving a transfer ban.
