After securing the signature of Cristiano Ronaldo, Saudi Arabian outfit Al Nassr have reportedly made a big offer to a certain Barcelona star.
The Saudi Pro League side added Ronaldo to their roster on Friday evening and he will play alongside the likes of Vincent Aboubakar and Luis Gustavo.
However, it seems Al Nassr are keen on bringing in more veteran stars from Europe and have identified Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets.
Ronaldo Breaks Silence On Al Nassr Move, Big 'Salary' Revealed
Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo have tabled a 'dizzying' financial offer to the Spanish midfielder with the hope luring him away from Spain in this month's transfer window.
Busquets' current contract expires at the end of the current season and was heavily linked with a move to Major League Soccer side Inter Miami before the start of the season.
However, Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez wants to keep Busuqets beyond the 2022/2023 season.
"He has a contract until June and then we will see. It's more a personal feeling of his. How he sees himself in the team, for me, he is fundamental," Xavi told reporters, as per Sports Mole.
"It will depend on him, more than on the club and me, but we will try to convince him.
"Busquets still has six months left on his contract. We are focused on what happens this season and we have a lot at stake. We can't make plans. I haven't spoken to Busquets yet about continuing."
