Real Madrid are reportedly still targeting a new back-up striker to Karim Benzema and are looking at Manchester United's Robin van Persie.

The Dutchman is allegedly on his way out of Old Trafford and has been massively linked with Turkish side Fernerbahce.
However, Los Blancos could still make a surprise move for the 31-year-old and bring him to Bernabeu, according to Spanish publication AS.
Rafa Benitez is reportedly still looking for a back-up to Benzema, with Fernando Llorente and Zlatan Ibrahimovic also linked to the Spanish giants.
United are reportedly keen to cash in on Van Persie before his contract expires in twelve months.
Van Persie would be the direct replacement of Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, who spent last season on loan at the club.

The striker has scored 58 goals and assisted a further 22 in 105 games since the Red Devils from Arsenal for €30,7 million.
