There has been more activity in the European transfer market this week, with Chelsea getting rid of an unwanted star, a former teammate of Percy Tau's becoming the window's most expensive player to date, and an SA-born star finding a new club.

AC Milan have been active in this window in their attempt to further strengthen their team for a Serie A title push.
As a consequence, the log leaders signed former Juventus and Bayern Munich forward Mario Mandzukic, who joined the club on a free transfer.
In addition, they have also taken midfielder Soualiho Meite on loan from Torino, while Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori's arrival in Milan is understood to be imminent.
Meanwhile, Krepin Diatta, who played alongside Tau at Club Brugge last season, has joined AS Monaco from the Belgium side in a deal worth €20 million (R367 million).
The Senegal international scored 10 goals for Brugge in the first half of the campaign, and will hope to continue his scoring form in Ligue 1.
