Delegates of the two Champions League finalists reportedly met on Wednesday, but Guiseppe Marotta insisted the French midfielder is not for sale.
"We received an offer of €80 million but I can affirm that Pogba will not be sold," he told Gezzetta dello Sport.
Barcelona presidential candidate, Joan Laporta, has announced he is expecting to sign Pogba, if he is re-elected next month.
Other reports claimed that Barcelona's election, which will not be decided before 18 July, could up Pogba's transfer.
In addition, the Catalan's transfer ban is also a stumbling block for Pogba's transfer during the current window. The midfielder would only be allowed to play for the treble-winners in January 2016, which could postpone his transfer to the club until June next year.

Pogba has also strongly been linked with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.
