On the weekend, the Florida-based side issued a press release in which they seemed to tease Messi's arrival in the United States after the Argentine said last month that he had decided to join the club co-owned by David Beckham.
The event will take place on 16 July.
"The major unveiling event will include exciting entertainment, speeches on the pitch and more," it read, according to France24.
Messi will be joined in North America by his former Barcelona teammate Sergio Busquets, who could very well be presented alongside him at the DRV PNK Stadium.
Ex-Catalan club manager, Gerardo "Tata" Martino, meanwhile, has been appointed to replace the recently sacked Phil Neville.
Rumours claim Jordi Alba could also join the two former Blaugrana captains in Miami in the coming days.
