Some clubs have already made a couple of impressive signings and got most of their transfer business done long before the deadline. We took a look at best spending sprees of the current window.

Manchester United
The Red Devils started the window with a €27.5 million move for Memphis Depay, a talented winger from PSV. Italy right-back Matteo Darmian followed after an €18 million move from Torino. On Monday, the club completed the signings of World Cup-winning Germany captain, Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bayern Munich for €20 million, and Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton for €34 million. Overall spending (including smaller name players): €97.5 million.
Juventus
The Serie A champions already signed Paulo Dybala, an Argentinian talent from Palermo for €32 million, Mario Mandzukic, a proven striker from Atletico Madrid for €19 million, and Simeone Zaza, an Italian international as third striker for €18 million. In addition, they signed World Cup-winning midfielder Sami Khedira on a free transfer from Real Madrid. Overall spending: €88.1 million.
Atletico Madrid
The La Liga giants already signed Jackson Martinez, Portugal's top-scorer of the last three campaigns, from Porto for €35 million. They also snatched Argentine talent, Luciano Vietto, from Villarreal for €20 million as well as Yannick Ferreira Carrasco, a talented winger from Monaco for €20 million. Overall spending: €75 million.
Liverpool
The Reds made the most expensive signing to date after Roberto Firmino joined them from Hoffenheim for €41 million. In addition, Liverpool bought England right-back Nathaniel Clyne from Southampton for €17.7 million. Danny Ings and James Millner, as well as back-up keeper Adam Bogdan, joined the Reds on a free transfer. Overall spending: €63.6 million.
Inter
Roberto Mancini's side already bought sought-after midfield talent, Geoffrey Kondogbia, from Monaco for €30 million. Atletico Madrid defender, Miranda joined the club on an initial loan deal, similar to FC Barcelona's Martin Montoya who also joined on loan. In addition, they also got Colombia defender Jeison Murillo for €8 million. Overall spending: €61.7 million.
