During a recent live stream with Barcelona-based online personality Ibai Llanos, the departed La Furia Roja tactician spoke about his experiences at the tournament in the Middle East.
Spain began the showpiece with a remarkable 7-0 victory over Costa Rica, and eventually qualified for the round of 16, despite drawing with Hansi Flick's Germany and losing their final group game to Japan.
Speaking to Llanos, Enrique said the one thing he would change about the World Cup would be giving more playing time to Paris Saint-Germain winger Pablo Sarabia.
"If I could change one thing about the World Cup, it would be to give Pablo Sarabia more minutes," he said.
"He was one of the best in the training sessions before the Morocco game."
The Spanish tactician also suggested he was disappointed with the attitude of one of his players, admitting that the unnamed star caught him by surprise.
"Of the 26 players I took to the World Cup, I would leave one out and take another," he added.
"I won't say who I would leave out or who I would take.
"There is one who I would have liked to take and another who I took and what I saw was not what I expected."
Spain's competition ended following a penalty shootout defeat to Morocco in the round of 16, with Sarabia, Carlos Soler and Sergio Busquets missing from the spot for the 2010 world champions.
