Early last week, the Football Association announced that Arsenal defender Ben White had left the camp due to personal reasons.
White did not play a minute in any of England's group matches despite heading to the showpiece as one of the country's most in-form players, having impressed for the Gunners this season.
According to the Daily Star, the former Leeds United centre-back was unhappy in the Three Lions set-up as he battled to mingle with his international teammates before falling out with assistant boss Steve Holland.
It is alleged that Holland became infuriated with White's lack of knowledge over his own personal statistics, and, in one specific team meeting, over his little awareness of the United States side England were preparing to face.
The 25-year-old has made just four appearances for England since his debut in 2021, and was in their UEFA European Championship squad last year but did not get any minutes.

White's future with the national team thus appears uncertain for now, with Holland being head coach Gareth Southgate's long-time assistant and unlikely to leave the set-up.
