Luka Modric was not happy with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) during Los Blancos' 2-0 win over Club America in their semi-final tie.
There was a bit of confusion when Cristiano Ronaldo's strike appeared to be disallowed for offside after a VAR referral, before the strike was upheld by the referee.
"It's new, I don't like it, it creates a lot of confusion," Modric was quoted as saying by AS.
"The other day we had a meeting and I didn't listen much because I hope the rule doesn't continue.
We've got to concentrate on our football and let's see what happens. My first feelings [about it]are not good."
Zinedine Zidane's charges wil face Kashima Antlers in the Club World Cup final on Sunday.
