Footballers in Europe, including the Premier League and LaLiga, are threatening to protest over the new format of the FIFA Club World Cup.
A number of players have spoken about FIFA's calendar, which they feel is overloaded and it will get worse next year when the revamped Club World Cup gets underway.
From next year, the Club World Cup expand to 32 teams and will include 12 teams from Europe, including Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

The Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A and the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) met this week to discuss options to counteract FIFA's attempts to increase the number of matches at the tournament.
"I can tell you a situation not 10 days ago where I went into a dressing room that was directly affected and said: 'I'm happy to be here and bark a bit, but ultimately it's up to you. How far do you want to go?"' Molango said, as per ESPN.
"Some of them said: 'I'm not having it, we might as well go on strike.' Some said: 'What's the point? Yes, I'm a millionaire, but I don't even have time to spend the money."
"It was not even the union that said it, it was Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola. We have reached a point where we cannot rule out any action."
