Cristiano Ronaldo netted a hat-trick to inspire Los Blancos to a 4-2 win in the final, as the Spanish club secured their second World Cup title.
Ronaldo finished the tournament as top goal scorer with four goals, while he was also named Player of the Tournament for the first time in his career, having failed to win it on two previous occasions.
The Portuguese's teammate, Luka Modric picked up the Silver Ball, while Kashima Antlers' Gaku Shibasaki was awarded the Bronze Ball.
The tournament hosts, Antlers were also awarded the Fair Play Award.
