The Portuguese netted the winner in the 93rd minute after Karim Benzema had given his side the lead on the strokes of half-time in the club's semi-final against Club America on Thursday afternoon.
It was Ronaldo's 500th senior goal in club football after scoring 377 times for Real, 118 for Manchester United and five for Sporting Lisbon in 660 club appearances.
In addition, he also struck his 100th goal in international club competitions, netting 95 goals in the UEFA Champions League, one in UCL qualification, two in the UEFA Super Cup and three in the FIFA Club World Cup.

With his goal against Club America, the 31-year-old took his tally for the 2016/17 campaign to 13 strikes in 18 appearances and booked his third Club World Cup final ticket.
In the decider, Ronaldo – along with Toni Kroos – can become part of an elite group of players who have lifted the trophy three times in their careers.
The only players to have previously won the trophy three times are FC Barcelona's Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta, and Gerard Pique, and their former teammate Dani Alves.
