Los Blancos faced Club America, the winners of the CONCACAF Champions League, in the second semi-final on Thursday, beating their opponents 2-0.
Karim Benzema scored the first goal of the game on the brink of half-time after being set up by Toni Kroos.
Ronaldo added Real's second in the dying minutes of the second half to ensure victory for Real. It was his 377th goal for the Champions League winners, taking his overall club tally to 500 senior career goals – including 118 for Manchester United and five for Sporting Lisbon.
Zinedine Zidane featured what was almost his strongest line-up, with only Sergio Ramos and Pepe missing out due to slight injury concerns, and Los Blancos extended their unbeaten run to 36 games in all competitions.
The match itself was a rather dull affair, with Real seemingly affected by jetlag from traveling to Japan, while Club America struggled to threaten Keylor Navas' goal.
