Mexican side, Club America came from behind to defeat Joenbuk Motors 2-1 and secured their spot in the semi-final, where they will face Real Madrid.
The South Korean outfit broke the deadlock after 23 minutes courtesy of a left-footed strike from Kim Bo-kyung, with Park Won-Jae picking up the assist.
America had to wait until the 31st minute for their first real chance of the game, when Silvio Romero and Osavalo Martinez forced Jeong-Nam Hong into a superb saves in quick succession.
Joenbuk had another chance to extend their lead just before the break, but Bo-kyung failed to add to his tally by firing over the crossbar.
America leveled matters in the 58th minute when Romero headed home Michael Arroyo's cross into the bottom corner.
The Mexican outfit then took the lead in the 74th minute when Romero netted his second of the game by firing home a right-footed home from close range, 2-1.
Club America managed to see out the rest of the match to secure the win, and they will now face Zinedine Zidane's charges on Thursday.
