With 11 assists in his previous 12 matches for Spain, the Blaugrana winger has now contributed to more goals in international football than his LALIGA rival has.
The Los Blancos winger has been playing in Brazil's senior side since 2019, and has registered 10 goal contributions in 34 games so far.
This is according to One Football, who point out that Lamine Yamal has already played a hand in 12 strikes from his 16 appearances.
The 17-year-old burst into life at the 2024 UEFA European Championship for the eventual champions, scoring once – in a 2-1 semi-final win over France – and assisting four times.
Lamine Yamal was at it again in Spain's 4-1 away victory over Switzerland in the UEFA Nations League on Sunday, collecting yet another assist.
Vinicius, meanwhile, has played a hand in just four goals in his past 10 games for the Selecao across all competitions.

Both Spain-based stars are up for the 2024 Ballon d'Or in October, although it appears more likely that Vinicius will claim the award given his success at Los Blancos last season.
