Spanish giants FC Barcelona have reportedly identified an African star as a long-term successor to Polish forward Robert Lewandowski.

Osimhen has continued his goalscoring exploits with Turkish giants Galatasaray AS with 29 goals in 33 games in all competitions this year.
The Super Eagles forward is currently on loan in Turkey from Italian side Napoli and has already caught the eye of several top European sides for next season.
Spanish publication As Diario reported that Barcelona are looking at Osimhen as a "powerful striker" who can play alongside Lewandowski and eventually replace him as the club's leading forward.
The former Bayern Munich man is contracted with the Catalan side until 2026 and has scored 40 goals in 46 games across all competitions.
The ex-LOSC Lille forward will be hot property during the European transfer window as Juventus, Chelsea, and Galatasaray have expressed interest in signing the Nigerian, who will likely move on from Napoli after he was exiled by the club.

Meanwhile, Barca have also identified Sporting CP's Viktor Gyokeres and Athletic Club's Nico Williams as possible transfer targets to bolster their attack which includes teenage sensation Lamine Yamal and Brazilian attacker Raphinha.
