With Erling Haaland understood to be a priority signing for Barcelona, the Spanish giants have reportedly identified strikers they will go for should they fail to sign the Norway superstar.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that the Blaugrana want to make the two-time Premier League Golden Boot winner their marquee signing for when they reopen the Camp Nou.
It is understood that club sporting director Deco met Haaland's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, earlier in the year to discuss a potential deal, but given that Barca are still in the midst of a precarious financial situation, his acquisition may not be straight-forward and will likely involve a substantial amount of funding.
Robert Lewandowski is the team's current main forward, and despite being 36 years old, he is still illustrating that he is among the best strikers in the world, and currently leads the LALIGA Golden Boot race.
The Catalan giants do want to be proactive, however, and signing Haaland as a replacement is what they want most, but should that not be financially feasible, they are said to have already shortlisted a few back-up candidates.
According to The Sun, Newcastle United's Alexander Isak and Liverpool's Darwin Nunez are players the five-time European champions view as quality back-up options.
It is rumoured the Swede has been stalling on signing an extension at St. James' Park, while Sun Sport claims the Uruguayan is growing increasingly frustrated under new Reds boss Arne Slot due to a lack of substantial game time.

Barca will no doubt be hoping to lure Haaland to their revamped home ground, but the club's chiefs also view the two Premier League forwards as ideal strikers for Hansi Flick's side.
