Goals from Ander Herrera and Angel Di Maria handed Manchester United a 2-0 win over Yeovil Town in their FA Cup third round tie.
United manager, Louis Van Gaal, named a strong starting line-up which included Wayne Rooney, Radamel Falcao and Ander Herrera.
United saw most of the ball in the first half as expected but failed to create any openings.
The best chance of getting goals were strikes from distance, although efforts from Wayne Rooney and Herrera failed to trouble the Yeovil goalkeeper.
United eventually took the lead in the 64th minute with their first real effort of the match, with Ander Herrera volleying home a sublime effort from 25-yards out.
Angel Di Maria came to United's rescue in the 70th minute, as the Argentine winger positioned himself well to clear Edwards' header off the line.
Di Maria then sealed the Red Devils' spot in the fourth round with a clinical finish from close range, after getting on the end of a delightful ball from Rooney.
