The draw for the 2022/23 UEFA Europa League knockout play-off matches was announced on Monday afternoon.

All the teams that finished atop of their respective Europa League groups this season have automatically qualified for the round of 16, with the likes of Arsenal, Real Sociedad and Feyenoord all booking their passage among the eight teams assured of a place in the next round.
The teams that finished second in their groups will have to do it the hard way if they are to reach the round of 16, with all of them set to face the sides that finished third in their UEFA Champions League groups.
Manchester United will be part of the play-off round after failing to beat Real Sociedad by two goals last week. The Red Devils will be facing another LaLiga side next in the form of Barcelona, who are back in the Europa League for a second successive season.
That gigantic tie is accompanied by the record-winners Sevilla taking on Ruud van Nistelrooy's PSV Eindhoven.

The knockout round play-offs will be played on the 16th and 23rd of February 2023, while the first and second leg's of the round of 16 will be contested on the 9th and 16th of March 2023, as per UEFA's official website.
