With Siyabonga Ngezana's FCSB having been dumped out of the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, it has now reportedly been revealed how much the Romanian club will earn for their run to the tournament's round of 16.
FCSB's journey in European continental competition came to an end on Thursday after they suffered a comprehensive 4-0 defeat in the second-leg round of 16 tie against Olympique Lyon.

The Bucharest outfit lost 7-1 on aggregate, while Lyon ensured themselves a quarter-final clash against Manchester United in April.
Nevertheless, FCSB have bowed out of the Europa League but have made a hefty sum of earnings for reaching this stage of the competition.
According to Romanian outlet DigiSport, FCSB have pocketed a handsome prize of €12.5 million (R247 million) for getting this far in the Europa.
The report adds that the club missed out on a further €2.5 million (R49.6 million) if they had successfully made it to the quarter-finals.
FCSB boss Elias Charalambous said he was proud of his side after the match, as not many believed they would have gotten this far.
"Now the adventure in Europe is over. The opponents are certainly at a different level compared to us. We knew it would be difficult. They were a much better team than us. It is very fair that they qualified."
"The boys should be proud of what they have achieved. I am happy to work with such players. Europe is over, we must now focus on the league."
He added, "There were many memories. The beginning was beautiful too. At the start of the group stage, few believed we would get through. That is why I am proud of my players, because no one thought they would advance."
