The stand-out performer was Henrikh Mkhitaryan who scored a hattrick in the last 17 minutes, after goals from Marco Reus and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Astra Giurgiu 2-1 (4-3 agg) West Ham: The Hammers were knocked out of the Europa League 4-3 on aggregate after a 2-1 defeat at Astra Giurgiu. Constantin Budescu bagged a brace for the hosts to secure the result despite Manuel Lanzini's third-minute opener. Vitesse Arnheim 0-2 (0-5 agg) Southampton: The Saints strolled to a 5-0 aggregate victory after a 2-0 result at Vitesse. Graziano Pelle scored the opener in the fourth minute before a second from Sadio Mane in the 89th minute.
