Southampton began their Europa League journey with a 3-0 win over Vitesse in their third qualifying round first-leg tie.
The Saints opened the scoring in the 36th minute when Graziano Pelle collected a pass from Sadio Mane, before firing past Eloy Room.

West Ham United blew a two-goal lead, as they drew 2-2 with Astra Girugu in their first leg qualifier at Upton Park on Thursday evening.
The Hammers went ahead through Enner Valencia in the 23rd minute, before Mauro Zarate doubled their advantage in the 51st minute.
West Ham had defender, James Collins, sent off in the 58th minute and Fernando Boldrin pulled one back for the visitors in the 71st minute with a fine strike, before Angelo Ogbonna's own goal leveled matters for the Romanian side.
