Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman is said to be unhappy after a lack of opportunities in Germany this past month.
Les Bleus made it to the semi-finals of the competition, losing to eventual champions Spain 2-1.
Coman, 28, came off the bench just once at EURO 2024, in a group-stage match, playing a total of just 15 minutes overall.
This despite Kylian Mbappe breaking his nose in France's opener, Antoine Griezmann's underwhelming performances and Ousmane Dembele's inconsistency.
According to L'Equipe, the former Juventus star is said to have considered retiring from France duty as he is "scarred" by being overlooked on so many occasions by Didier Deschamps.
Coman's reported decision follows the news that Deschamps will continue as Les Bleus' manager until at least the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
