The French Football Federation (FFF) has made a major decision on the future of their head coach Didier Deschamps following France's recent elimination from the 2024 UEFA European Championship.

Les Bleus saw their latest EUROs campaign end in disappointment as goals from Lamine Yamal and Dani Olmo saw Spain come from behind to beat the French 2-1 on Tuesday night.
Although they made it all the way to the final four, France's performances in Germany were largely criticised, with the team scoring only one goal from open play in the whole tournament.
The two-time European champions received a lot of flack for their performances as a result, and with Deschamps responsible for the team's tactics, he would perhaps have been held accountable.
However, FFF president Philippe Diallo believes the 55-year-old has earned enough clout to carry on leading the team despite failing to end their 24-year wait for a European championship title.
"Past results speak in his favour and the objectives have been achieved. Didier will continue his mission," he told L'Equipe.
"We're going to be talking to each other over the next few days to analyse in greater depth what we lacked during this semi-final and what would have enabled us to go further.
