Portugal's only success at the European Championship came in 2016, but the skipper insists the team's target is to go all the way.
"Semi-finals? I hope we can go further," Ronaldo said, as per Goal.
"We must take it step by step, live in the moment, stay calm, and continue working hard. We know it's a short competition, but the team is well-prepared," he added, showcasing his confidence in the squad's capabilities.
"I feel prepared for this competition," Ronaldo said.
"There are five days left until our first game, and it's crucial to get off to a good start.
"I enjoy football, and records are a byproduct, not a goal—they come naturally.
"This being my sixth European Championship, it's about enjoying it in the best way possible, playing well, and ensuring the team can win."
