The Al Ittihad midfielder made a surprise return to the Les Bleus squad last month after a two-year absence when he was named in Didier Deschamps' 2024 UEFA European Championship squad.
So far, the 33-year-old midfielder has appeared to be back to his best on the international stage, having played 90 minutes in both Group D games against Austria and the Netherlands.
The ex-Leicester City and Chelsea man has since admitted that he likes the idea of playing in Europe again, but insisted he is not thinking about his future at this moment.
"My adventure is not over yet, and I very much appreciate the idea of returning," he said, according to Kooora.
"Living this atmosphere again with the French national team is a wonderful feeling, but I am not asking myself this question at the present time."
On making a comeback on the international stage, Kante expressed his delight at once again being called up Deschamps.
"I am happy to return to the national team and co-exist with the atmosphere of the public and the competition again," he added.
"We do not want to exaggerate in praise and praise, because we are still in the group stage. Rather, we must continue working."
