Paul Pogba has named a surprise footballer as the best player of his generation.

The Frenchman came through the ranks at Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson, after joining the club from French outfit Le Havre in 2009.
Pogba's talent and potential was clear for everyone to see, but, at that time, it was fellow midfielder and academy teammate Ravel Morrison who was tipped to become a star.
Things, however, did not go to plan as Morrison went on to make just three senior appearances for the Red Devils before joining West Ham United in 2012.
Speaking recently about his former colleague, Pogba declared him the most talented player born in 1993.
"Let me tell you. Ravel is the best player of my generation, the generation, 1993, that I have seen," he said, according to TBR Football.
"Yes, no doubt, I'm telling you. I saw stuff, Neymar quality when he was at Santos that Ravel was doing with us.
"Yeah, Rav, the biggest talent of our generation, for sure.
"In a way I feel sorry, but at the same time players have this responsibility, and he knows it, he realises that if he had to make it again he wouldn't make the same choice he's made in the past years."
Morrison later had spells at Lazio in Italy and Atlas in Mexico, before returning to England to join Sheffield United in 2019.
In 2020, meanwhile, the Englishman switched his international allegiance to be able to represent Jamaica, for whom he has since made 18 appearances.

Despite his early promise, the midfielder remains best known for failing to live up to his potential at club level.
