The German tactician returns to management following his departure from Bayern Munich at the end of the 2023/24 season.
This move marks Tuchel's first venture into international football, having previously been the main man at Mainz, Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Bayern.
It was reported on Tuesday evening that an agreement between Tuchel and England's camps had been concluded, with the news being met with mixed reviews.
Tuchel becomes only the third non-English manager to oversee the Three Lions after Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.
In accepting the FA's approach, he replaces Gareth Southgate, who stepped down from the position after England's 2024 UEFA European Championship defeat to Spain in July.
