Manchester City have reportedly made a new decision on one of their former players who is not wanted at his current club.

Rumours suggest retired Germany international Ilkay Gundogan could be on his way back to the Premier League champions.
The 33-year-old joined Barcelona last year, but appears to have been told he is no longer considered an untouchable first-team player in Spain.
Gundogan made 51 appearances for the Catalan giants in his debut season, contributing to 19 goals.
Under new manager Hansi Flick, however, the midfielder has fallen down the pecking order as the club prepare for his departure.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims City have been in contact with Gundogan's camp over a potential return after deciding they are open to having him back in Manchester.
Pep Guardiola is said to be willing to consider having the German in his squad again, after he made 304 appearances under the Spaniard between 2016 and 2023.
Gundogan became an integral part of the Citizens' success in that period and captained the side in his final campaign in England.

The player does, however, have offers from more teams, including from outfits in the Middle East.
