Man Utd Stage Late Comeback To End Winless Run

Manchester United 2-1 Brentford

Manchester United struck late in the second half to secure a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Brentford at Old Trafford.

United coach Erik ten Hag recalled Jonny Evans as Victor Lindelof moved to left-back so that Sofyan Amrabat could move into his natural midfield role.

Brentford took the lead with their first shot on target in the 26th minute when a clearance fell into the path of Jorgensen, who sent a low strike past Andre Onana.

Second-half substitute Scott McTominay pulled the Red Devils level in the 93rd minute with a lovely volley from close-range.

McTominay went on to bag the winning goal in the seventh minute of time added on with a lovely header after being set up by Harry Maguire.

Burnley 1-4 Chelsea

Chelsea made it back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time this season after thumping Burnley 4-1 at Turf Moor.

The home side took the lead in the 15th minute when Lyle Foster turned provider to tee up Wilson Odobert, who fired into the far corner.

The Blues levelled matters three minutes before the break when Ameen Al-Dakhil could only deflect Raheem Sterling's cross into the back of his own net.

Shortly after the break, Sterling then won Chelsea a penalty which Cole Palmer converted before the England international got his goal in the 65th minute.

There was enough time for the Blues to grab a fourth goal with 15 minutes to play when Nicolas Jackson marked his return from suspension with a close-range finish.

Everton 3-0 Bournemouth

Everton got back to winning ways in the Premier League after thrashing Bournemouth 3-0 at Goodison Park.

The Toffees got off to the perfect start when James Garner found the back of the net with a neat finish into the far corner.

Jack Harrison doubled the lead for the home side on his first league start in the 37th minute, before Abdoulaye Doucouré bagged the third goal in the second half.
