According to Fichajes, the Premier League champions are bracing themselves for a Haaland exit in 2024, with Real Madrid expected to push hard for his signature then, and have deemed Victor Osimhen as an ideal successor to the Norwegian.
The Lagos native has been in sublime form this season with Napoli, having scored 25 goals in 30 matches as the Serie A giants stay on course for what could be their first league title in 33 years.
With the 24-year-old having spearheaded this charge, he has seemingly caught the attention of Pep Guardiola, who reportedly sees the Super Eagle as the player who could replace Haaland at the Etihad Stadium.
The west African has previously expressed his admiration for the Premier League and African footballinglegend Didier Drogba, so it is likely the player would be open to a move to the Citizens in the future.
Guardiola could have a fight on his hand for Osimhen's services, though, with the likes of Bayern Munich and Manchester United understood to be interested in acquiring the Nigeria international's signature in the upcoming transfer window.
