A number of players have been tipped to leave the Citizens ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, including midfielder Kalvin Phillips and long-time first-choice goalkeeper Ederson.
Another star tipped to depart is Portugal international Joao Cancelo, who spent the past season on loan at Spanish giants Barcelona.
While the 30-year-old fullback's contract in England is set to expire in 2027 only, Guardiola has now suggested he would have no issue with Cancelo continuing at the LALIGA side.
"It is a question for Txiki [Begiristain, City director]," he said, according to 90min.
"Whatever will be the best for everyone. We will sit between the clubs.
"If an agreement is not reached, he will have to return, but if the player wants to stay (with Barcelona), he will do it again."
