FC Barcelona beat Los Blancos 3-0 in their own backyard, and the Brazil legend possibly came up with one of the finest individual performances in El Clasico history.
Ronaldinho's display was so good, it even got the Real's fans applauding.
His brilliance started just before the hour mark – Samuel Eto'o had given Barcelona the lead after just 15 minutes – as the Brazilian picked the ball up 10 yards inside Madrid's half and set off on a devastating run towards their goal.
Moments later, the ball was nestled in the back of the net and it was clear that Real's defenders were shell-shocked by what they had witnessed!
Ronaldinho was in unstoppable form, and in the 77th minute he again set off on a mesmerising run down the left side in the Madrid half.
There was no stopping of him on that day, and his cool finish marked one of the most remarkable nights in Clasico history - as thousands of fans in the Bernabeu rose to their feet to show their appreciation.
Despite the 3-0 humiliation, Real Madrid fans were in awe of a true global superstar.
