Brazilian striker, Neymar, has praised his Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi, for his quick thinking as the pair tore through the Ajax Amsterdam defence last night.
Neymar has now scored 10 goals in as many games this season, while Messi has nine goals in 11 matches, but the 22-year-old insists Messi's quick thinking gives them the edge over everyone else.
"What we are doing is helping our team score goals with our passes," Neymar told reporters
"Messi is the best, he thinks faster than everyone else (in football). Overall, the team played great football."
Barcelona's next match is the El Clasico on Saturday at the Bernabeu and Neymar, admits the whole squad is excited and ready to challenge their biggest rivals.
"We're really looking forward to Saturday," he added
"We have to rest now so we can be ready for the big game."
The Catalans are currently second in their Champion's League group, just behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain, but four points clear of third-placed Ajax.
Neymar has made 51 appearances for Barcelona since joining and has scored 25 goals while assisting a further 18 more.
